You can use Canary melons in fresh preparations. You can enjoy Canary melons as a snack, slice it in half, discard the seeds, and consume it straight out of hand. You can add Canary melons in salads or blend them into smoothies, cook them into jam, and fill baked goods. Canary melons pair well with the following items: honey, ginger, citrus, cucumbers, herbs such as basil, cilantro, and mint, fennel, cheeses including ricotta, and halloumi, apples, berries, kiwis, and oranges.
Store whole uncut Canary melons at room temperature to keep for a couple of days, and 10 to 14 days when you store them in the refrigerator. Once you cut them, the melon pieces will keep 2 to 3 days when stored in a sealed container in the fridge.
