HABAK is a mint variety native to northeastern Africa with characteristic long spikes and tiny blue flowers. It grows wherever water is abundantly available either near or at the surface of the ground. The plant is an aromatic shrub with jagged-edged leaves that grow opposite each other. Its flower petals are fused together. Its heady smell fills the air with a distinctly beautiful scent.
Habak is mainly used to make flavored tea
