  • Lemons Meyer 0.5 kg pack are a small to medium variety and have a round to oval shape. The peel is thin, glossy, golden yellow to orange. You can peel it to find 9 to 10 segments. The flesh is also soft, tender, with seeds, or sometimes seedless. Meyer lemons are highly fragrant and emit a bright, herbal scent. The fruits also contain low acidity and high sugar content, developing a sweet, zesty flavor with floral undertones.

  • Lemons Meyer, 0.5 kg pack, contains low acidity, developing a sweet juice, zest, and flesh suitable for both fresh and cooked applications. When raw, Meyer lemons can be chopped and tossed into dips, sliced thinly and added to salads, or infused into dressings, olive oils, and vinegar. Also, the juice can be used for cocktails and juices and to flavor soups. The zest for making cakes, cookies, or include in the pasta.

  • Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator's drawer to keep 5 to 10 days. Also, the juice can be frozen for up to 6 months.

  • Meyer Lemon Curd

    Ingredients:

    1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
    2 tablespoons Meyer lemon zest
    1/2 cup Meyer lemon juice
    3/4 cup sugar
    4 large egg yolks, beaten

    Instructions:

    1. Melt the butter in the top of a double boiler or in a bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water (the bottom of the bowl should not touch the water).
    2. Stir in the Meyer lemon zest, juice, and sugar. You can eat Meyer lemon peel, so this recipe uses both the zest and juice of the Meyer lemons for optimal flavor. To achieve the 2 tablespoons of zest and 1/2 cup of juice you will need about 3 medium Meyer lemons.
    3. Add the egg yolks, and whisk continuously over the simmering water until thickened. This will take about 10 minutes.
    4. When the mixture is thickened and smooth and an instant-read thermometer registers 170 F, the eggs will have been safely cooked and the mixture will have reached the correct temperature for a curd consistency.
    5. Remove from the heat and pour into glass jars. Store in the refrigerator.
